Steps for lives is a group of 5 Selborne College, grade 11, students who have been tasked to raise money.
The money raised through the Steps for lives campaign will be donated to EduSports Youth, where it will be used to build a Literacy Centre for less fortunate young learners.
Our plan to raise the money necessary for this very needed campaign will be to walk as far as possible, as every step counts towards helping those in need.
Any amount of donation towards this cause will be appreciated.

Story
Steps for lives is a group of 5 Selborne College, grade 11, students who have been tasked to raise money, which will be donated to EduSport for the construction of a Literacy Centre. This campaign is not only here to raise money but also awareness of the fact that there are over 70 kids in one class struggling to read. On top of this horrifying statistic, around 80% of all grade 4 learners in South Africa are functionally illiterate, this means the balance of a whopping 20% of South Africa’s future generations can read.
Our goal for this campaign is to raise awareness, as well as R1000 to donate to the EduSports organization to help towards the construction of the Literacy Centre. Every step counts, every cent matters.
