Story

New Growth Ministries (NGM) was founded in 1992 by the Mackenzie family and is based outside Chinhoyi Zimbabwe. NGM’s main objectives are to provide for the physical, emotional, moral, educational and spiritual needs of widows, orphans and vulnerable children in Zimbabwe.

The New Growth Ministries focuses on :

  • THE KEAGAN HOME:

The Keagan home is a home for young, orphaned boys. Currently, the home has 24 boys ranging in age from newborn to 18 years old. The Keagan Home is a place of safety and a children’s home, giving previously orphaned children a family, hope and a future.

The team does everything possible to assist in further education and grow the boys’ calling and passion into a career. Incredibly, some of the team looking after the boys consists of boys that grew up in the Keagan Home. This incredible home is privately funded, and the recent drought affecting Zimbabwe has had a detrimental effect on food production for the home.
