Growing up, both running and nature have been a major part of my life. With the family holidays to game reserves and spending so much time in the bush, I have fallen in love with the bush and wildlife photography constantly wanting to go back to it all the time.
Knowing and understanding what game Rangers do and the role they play in keeping the game reserves, which I love, in the best possible condition.
After finding out that Harry Bailey was running again, I immediately seized the opportunity to do the Run the Rangers Run and to help play my part in raising awareness.
I am incredibly fortunate to have this opportunity to run in a game reserve all to spread awareness and help raise money. Having known Harry from Hilton College I am very excited to participate knowing he is doing a good cause.
As a student at Hilton college 5 of us will be running a total of 100km in a relay group alongside Harry and the other runners through Babanango Big 5 Game Reserve.
The funds raised will be going towards helping Project Rhino and Babanango Game Reserve to empower their rangers with essential resources, training, and equipment needed to combat poaching, enforce conservation laws, and promote sustainable practices.
