Short Story

We are Honours students from Stellenbosch University’s Management Accounting Program, and we are taking on the challenge of running the Gun Run Half Marathon on 15 September 2024 to raise funds for Pieter Langeveldt Primary School in Cloetesville, Stellenbosch.

Our mission is to provide much-needed resources—like whiteboards, textbooks, and other learning materials. This school serves underprivileged students primarily from Kayamandi in Stellenbosch. A recent visit in late July opened our eyes to the significant educational needs of these children. As students ourselves, we recognize the power of having the right tools to enhance our learning and would love to see that every child gets an equal opportunity to succeed in this fast paced world of education . That’s why we are committed to supporting the next generation in the best way we can.

We have been blessed with the opportunity to pursue our studies, and now we want to give back by empowering these young minds. With your support, we can make a lasting impact on their education and future.

Join us in this wonderful opportunity to make a difference—one step at a time.
