Dion was born and educated in Zimbabwe. He went on to study at Maritzburg University and became a Chartered Accountant after completing articles in Durban. He then spent 10 years in London, where he met his stunning wife, Ingrid. On his return to SA, Dion was CEO of a Global Software Company, Derivco, for 12 years. Having stepped down in 2018, Dion is now involved in a few different businesses, ranging from retail in SA, to agriculture in Africa. He is a very proud husband and father of 3 beautiful children, Nicholas, Megan and Georgina. Dion has a huge heart for helping others and wants to see Sport for Lives achieve its objectives. He brings with him years of proven integrity and a wealth of business experience. Dion is integral in ensuring the organisational health of Sport for Lives.
