The Sharks U20 team aim to raise R50,000 for LIV Village junior rugby teams

The Sharks U20 team of 2022 see rugby as more than just a game.

It is a voice.

It is something that creates connection and through that connection, provides an opportunity to create social change and make a difference.

They realized the privileged position that they are in. A position where they can do what they love and partner with those in need, the most vulnerable in their very own community, by playing for a cause.

Having built a relationship with LIV Village already, the team realized a need for new rugby poles and basketball nets on the ground, a need which as sportsman themselves, they value highly and have experienced first hand the holistic benefits that extend beyond just the playing field.

They have set a target to R50,000 in order for them to be able to get the nets and rugby poles.

This is just the beginning and we are so excited for what’s to come.
