The challenge:

Activating generosity through scoring BIRDIES.

The campaign:

This is a “Birdies for Lives” campaign facilitated by the Sport For Lives movement.

The cause:

Help the boys raise R65 000 for the school fees of one child (Gr. 1-7) from Angels Care to attend iThembelihle, Howick. Any excess will go towards winter warmers for the children.

Angels Care provides the right help that creates an environment where healing takes place and hope thrives. It does this by providing for holistic and optimal growth of children from indigent homes in the greater Howick area of KwaZulu-Natal. They do this by providing for the basic needs of children, ensuring access to health care and other human services and providing quality education.

They offer Education, Food Security for Children, Youth Development, Community Outreach and Crisis Care. Their White Door and Crisis Centre assists survivors of Gender-Based Violence, Rape and Abuse.
