Short Story

The 1st XI boys and all the other cricket teams playing will show their support for breast cancer awareness by playing their final XI cricket match, Hilton vs MHS on the 5th November 2022, for PinkDrive using the Sport for Lives platform.

Boys, parents, friends and family are encouraged to donate ahead to get a tree wrapped in honor of a special person who is either a cancer survivor or is fighting the battle, or perhaps someone who they have lost to cancer.

Or alternatively, we encourage you to pledge per wicket or per boundary for both teams (and not wrap a tree but still be part of this amazing initiative)

PinkDrive will be in our hearts and on our minds with every wicket we take and every four/six we hit on the day.

We invite anyone, no matter what team you are supporting on the day, to get behind this incredible initiative. Each boy playing cricket will be wearing a pink ribbon in support of those affected by breast cancer.

Join us in activating generosity by:

1. Donating a once-off amount (minimum is R350) to wrap a tree now or before Friday 4th November by clicking on back the campaign

OR

2. Click here to pledge an amount per boundary or per wicket both teams score and donate after the match.

Activating generosity for PinkDrive together.

As we all know, breast cancer has a high impact on family life. It affects all of us.

We, as the 1st XI of Hilton and Michaelhouse, want to raise awareness through the Wickets for Lives / Boundaries for Lives campaign. We believe sport can play a broader role in society by activating generosity.
