We, a group of C Block (Grade 10) Michaelhouse boys, decided 2 weeks before the Midmar Mile, to sign up and swim an 8 mile relay event to raise money for worthy causes.

Being termly boarders / brothers, we decided to team up from 2 next-door MHS houses, Ben, Murray, Matthew (Founders) and Sam (East).

We jumped in the pool at the challenge, did some last minute panic training and managed to complete the 8 Miles in good time, at Midmar Dam on the 10th and 11th February!

We have only got 5 weeks to raise a minimum of R10 000, but we would so like to raise more.

All our efforts will be assisting those in need and whom can’t speak for themselves.  The chosen charities, selected by the Midmar Mile event are: PINK DRIVE, CHOC, CANSA, EZEMVELO – SAVE THE RHINO and 25% will go to our schools chosen charity , please click on the link below to read more about the charity our school supports.
